      Jing Ling 😂😂😂😂

    • +Jing Ling In my country, in parts of my city, people shoot fireworks horizontally. The whole neighborhood divides into two groups and lob crackers at each other.

+Seb K there are many kinds of fircracker in china, the small firecracker is like a matchstick and you can throw anywhere ,also have some big ones must be keep stable up to sky to ignite .its much dangerous.i also bought a lot wired firecracker its lighted like footfrint ,pearls, flying airplane……

I get PTSD every year from the fireworks. I live in a smaller city so no one follows the restrictions. I like the first and last day best for fireworks. In between too loud from early morning to late at night.

Once again, great video guys! I’m way out in south Minhang and I’m hunkered down with 14 liters of water until the New Year passes. Wish me luck!!!

Ahh well… I legit don’t have any red clothes. (Except a santa hat, but I don’t think that is fitting xD)… and I got a haircut today o.O but it’s not new years yet so is it ok? My hairdresser charged me more than usual though, cause of spring holidays (30 instead of 20 kuai and she always does a great job so I didn’t really care)

    • Jing Ling

If your zodiac not a pig you dont have to wear red,and there is a old Chinese saying said”正月理发死舅舅”that means if you have a haircut
During new year aka first month of lunar calender and your uncle might be die.its really superstition, but no one wants risky to get uncle killed,so many chinese Have a haircut before new year, of couse it would be much expensive than usual.

  8. Let’s be honest here: we are all here for the red envelopes and don’t care about the rest during Chinese New Year, unless you are the older generation that’s from 1960s or so.

  9. Illusionen

    My liver is ready

  10. is that chinese John Malkovich?

  11. Dmitry K

Since I have met my girlfriend in China, who knows, maybe one day I will also be able to take part in celebration of Chinese NY! Seems like it should be really loud)) and really red.

2:26 “You can’t beat your kids on that day.” Reminds me of a story ,,,,, A Chinese Mother is heard departing an aircraft arrived back in China from a Western Country. She’s speaking with her children “Ahya, we are in China, now I can beat you.”

  13. Honest Tea Rants

Great video! And just in time for the Chinese New Year 🧧

  14. FarewelI

You have a splendid mamahuhu day too!

  15. Chinese New Year means renewal and hope. Even for poor people, there is hope for a more prosperous coming year. Children wear new pajamas on New Year’s Eve waiting for red envelopes 🧧 in the morning, eating sweets and playing with fireworks, just like Christmas. It’s a season for joyousness , goodwill and loving when even enemies don’t say bad things about each other, just like Christmas. Happy new year ..

  16. That girl’s like, you know, like, what I mean, like…

    • blackcherryicicle

    • blackcherryicicle

“You can’t beat your kids on this day” Classic.
